Dr. Keren PrinceDr. Keren Prince is excited to serve the community by providing eye care with compassion. Keren received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees with honours from the University of Waterloo in 2020. Her clinical training included an externship at the Eye Associates of Pinellas in Florida where she enhanced her knowledge and experience in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases. She also completed internships at TLC Waterloo, LASIK MD, and a primary eye care clinic in Kitchener. During her studies, Keren volunteered overseas at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital in Chennai, India, as well as locally at youth programs, to provide eye care for underserved communities.
In late 2019, Keren co-authored and presented an abstract discussing the rare presentation of ischemic vaso-occlusive retinopathy in Sturge Weber Syndrome at the American Academy of Optometry Conference in Orlando. Additionally, she was involved in a research study assessing the vision needs of hospitalized rehabilitation patients conducted by the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science and Grand River Hospital.
Apart from her eye-related interests, Keren enjoys playing the piano, painting, scenic photography, spending time with her family, and volunteering at her church.
